Community Organizations in North Jakarta Commit to Safeguarding Jakarta

The North Jakarta City Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimko) Plus held a gathering with community organizations at the local mayor's office. The event was attended by 100 representatives from community organizations, religious organizations, and the general public.

Chairman of Forum Pembauran Kebangsaan (FPK) of North Jakarta, Hanafi Syaf affirmed full support and readiness to contribute to protecting the environment from various threats, dared to reject anarchism, and collaborated with the North Jakarta Forkopimko Plus.

"I believe that North Jakarta will remain safe, peaceful, and orderly. No more anarchy. Let's guard and protect Jakarta," he said, Wednesday (9/3).

North Jakarta Mayor, Hendra Hidayat said this gathering is a joint commitment to maintaining public security and order.

"Now the condition is conducive. Thanks to the collaboration and readiness of Forkopimko Plus with the community,"  he said.

Hendra invited all parties to ensure there are no more acts of vandalism or destruction of public facilities.

North Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Senior Commissioner Erick Frendriz, expressed his appreciation and gratitude to all elements of the North Jakarta community who have helped maintain and secure the environment.

"North Jakarta is now safe and conducive, thanks to this unity. We hope this relationship can be maintained in the future so that any issues at the grassroots level can be promptly resolved," he hoped.

Meanwhile, the Commander of the 0502 North Jakarta Military District, Colonel (Inf) Dony Gredinand, reminded the public not to be easily provoked or fall for slander that could incite unrest.

"We will be strong in protecting our home, North Jakarta through close ties and mutual protection," he stated.
