Residents appreciated the sidewalk repair on Jalan Boulevard Raya, RW 09, Kelapa Gading Timur Urban Village, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta.

Aisyah Nabila (27), one of sidewalk users, admitted the sidewalk looked bumpy and some parts looked damaged, disturbing the comfort of pedestrians passing by.
"As a pedestrian, I feel happy because the government cares about providing security and comfort for its residents," she said, Thursday (9/4).
Sidewalks on Jalan Syeh Nawawi Al Bantani Being RevitalizedKelapa Gading District's Bina Marga Unit Coordinator, Triyono Wijianto, said the sidewalk repairs run by his rank followed up on the results of monitoring by officers as well as efforts to maintain public facilities.
"We replace the damaged paving stones with new ones. We also smoothed out the wavy areas," he said.
Triyono explained that the sidewalk being repaired is 70 meters long and 1.7 meters wide. He deploys seven Yellow Troop personnel.
According to him, the repair has been running from end of August and is targeted to complete in 30 days.
