Hundreds of Rainbow Troops in North Jakarta Receive Food Packages

North Jakarta Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) together with Jakarta Provincial Government's DWP distributed food packages to 385 rainbow troops at Yos Sudaro Hall, North Jakarta Mayor Office, Thursday (9/4).

Chairwoman of North Jakarta DWP, Fida Hendra, said distribution of basic food packages to hundreds of rainbow troops was part of a social service and as a form of appreciation, as well ass empathy from the North Jakarta DWP together with the Jakarta Provincial Government DWP after the demonstration on August 28-31, 2025.

"This rainbow troop is the front guard that ensures our city of Jakarta remains safe, clean and conducive," she said.

She explained that b asic food packages were distributed to 385 personnel consisting of PPSU, SDA Task Force, Bina Marga Task Force, Environmental Task Force, City Parks and Forestry Task Force, Transportation Task Force, Fire Handling and Rescue Task Force, and Satpol PP.

"Once again we would like to thank the rainbow troops, who always work enthusiastically and tirelessly," she added.

Deputy Chairwoman of Jakarta Provincial Government DWP, Suniyati Sigit, stated this social action was held at five administration cities simultaneously.

"This assistance is not worth to their hard work, but it is our sincere gratitude to those who have never had a day off. We hope this is helpful and can rekindle their enthusiasm," she stated.

North Jakarta Mayor, Hendra Hidayat, appreciated this activity initiated by province and city-level DWP.

"We hope that our cooperation and togetherness will continue for the sake of North Jakarta's future. Let's join hands to restore and rebuild our beloved city," he said.
