Jakarta Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) once again organized a social program by taking over 100 children from Jakarta Social Orphanage (PSAA) 1 on an educational trip to Kota Tua in West Jakarta, on Tuesday (7/15).

"They were really excited to explore Kota T ua and see the museums up close,"

Jakarta DWP Chairperson, Komariah Marullah, shared that the children were taken to visit several historical museums, including Wayang Museum, Fine Arts and Ceramics Museum, and Jakarta History Museum.

"Alhamdulillah, I had a chance to chat with the children, and they were really excited to explore Kota Tua and see the museums up close," she said.

Komariah expected the visit would broaden the children's horizons and deepen their knowledge, especially regarding Jakarta's history and development.

"The goal is for the children not only to enjoy the trip, but also to gain knowledge about history of wayang, ceramics, and the founding of Jakarta," she mentioned.

Through this activity, Jakarta DWP seeks to create impactful learning opportunities outside the classroom and nurture both social skills and academic motivation in foster children.
