200 Residents Participate in Agricultural Food Processing Diversification Training

East Jakarta Food Security, Marine and Agriculture (KPKP) Sub-agency held a Diversification Training for Agricultural Food Processing at the Klender Training Center (TC), Duren Sawit District. The activity, which was opened by the Secretary of East Jakarta Administration, Eka Darmawan, was attended by 200 participants.

Eka hopes that the training will help participants better understand how to process processed foods using agricultural products into nutritious menus.

"Thanks to East Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency for providing this training. It is useful to create new entrepreneurs," he said, Wednesday (9/10).

Agricultural Product Processing Diversification Training Held in West Jakarta

According to him, the training material provided by the instructor was very good because it could improve the skills and broaden the participants' insight.

"Hopefully this training can be participated well to get wider knowledge," he added.

Head of East Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency, Taufik Yulianto explained the participants came from 10 districts after attending the registration and selection.

"The trining starts today until September 12. The participants will get one oven at the end of training," he explained.

Taufik continued that in this training, participants are trained on making Gluten Free Banana Cheese Cake, Avocado Milk Cheese Dates, and Gluten Free Spinach Noodles.

"We also provide additional materials regarding hygiene sanitation in food management," he continued.
