Pramono: No Construction Permit for Concrete Fence in Cilincing Waters!

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung responded to the construction of a concrete fence in the waters of Cilincing, North Jakarta, which went viral on social media.

Granting permits is the authority of the Ministry of Marine and Fisheries

Pramono emphasized that the Jakarta Government never issued a permit for the construction of the concrete fence.

"Granting permits is the authority of the Ministry of Marine and Fisheries, which was given to PT Karya Cipta Nusantara," he asserted, at Tavia Heritage Hotel, Central Jakarta, Friday (9/12).

Pramono Appeals Excavation Work to Be Cooperated

Despitw the permit was issued by the central government, he emphasized that the most important thing is that the activities of the fishermen in the area must not be disturbed.

"For us, the most important thing is that the fishermen are not disturbed in their activities in that place," he asserted.

To ensure it, he has asked the related agency to immediately summon the company involved. He also requested PT Karya Cipta Nusantara to provide full access to the fishermen operating in the area.

"I have already asked the related agency to promptly invite the company and provide assurance that PT Karya Cipta Nusantara must give access to the fishermen operating in that area," he said.
