Gubernur DKI, Pramono Anung mengukuhkan Hani Pramono sebagai Bunda PAUD DKI Jakarta

Governor Appoints Hani Pramono as Jakarta's Bunda PAUD

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung officially appointed Endang Nugrahani Pramono Anung as Jakarta's Bunda PAUD (Early Childhood Education) for the 2025–2030 term during a ceremony at Balai Agung, Jakarta City Hall, on Friday (9/12).

"Education is one of the main keys,"

The appointment was based on Jakarta Governor's Decree No. 615/2025. In addition to the provincial-level appointment, the event also marked the inauguration of Bunda PAUD representatives for the city and regency levels across Jakarta.

In his remarks, Pramono emphasized the crucial role of Bunda PAUD in shaping the character of children as Jakarta's future generation.

"Children who receive better educational nurturing and are raised with care and compassion before entering formal education, I believe, will grow into individuals with stronger character," he emphasized.

He also highlighted the importance of humanistic and compassionate education, particularly for children in orphanages, in shaping a better future generation.

Furthermore, during the event, Pramono also outlined several of his priority programs in the education sector. In line with the Governor's Decree, the Jakarta Provincial Government has resumed the distribution of the second phase of Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) Plus, with a total budget of Rp1.61 trillion allocated for 707,513 students.

"Hopefully, this will serve as the foundation for education in Jakarta, including early childhood education or what we call PAUD," he said.

In addition, educational assistance through Jakarta Excellent Student Card (KJMU) will be provided to 16,979 beneficiaries, covering up to doctoral level (S3). Pramono expressed hope that such programs can help break the cycle of disadvantage and improve family welfare.

"Education is one of the main keys," he asserted.

Pramono also shared his intention to allocate funding for a scholarship program similar to the national LPDP, at the provincial level. The goal is to send outstanding students from underprivileged families to pursue postgraduate (S2 and S3) studies abroad.

"I am truly determined to help underprivileged students continue their master's or doctoral degrees overseas," he shared.
