"I want to say to mothers or parents to encourage their children to consume fish by processing fish into various interesting dishes," she said, Wednesday (9/17).

According to her, fish has high-quality protein. It's also rich in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin D, and various minerals like calcium and iron, which are essential for bone and tooth growth and overall health.

"This golden period must really be utilized by mothers," she added.

Meanwhile, West Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency Head, Novy C Palit the campaign was attended by 204 early childhood students from various kindergartens

"In 2025, 1,000 children participating in the Gemarikan program for early childhood received fish-based packages consisting of fish katsu and ebi furai. Twenty-one packages were distributed today, with the remainder at a later event," she stated.

Novy hopes that when people, especially children, enjoy consuming fish, whether fresh or processed, they will contribute to reducing the number of stunting cases in West Jakarta.

"We'll hold similar activity again in West Jakarta," she admitted.
