600 Students of SDN Baru 03 Educated to Like Eating Fish

As many as 600 students from SDN Baru 03, Baru Urban Village, Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta were taught to love eating fish, Tuesday (8/27).

The activity, which was packaged in the Campaign to Promote Eating Fish (Gemarikan), was opened by East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar.
According to him, the Gemarikan campaign is a strategy to prevent stunting cases in society, while also increasing children's intelligence, as well as growth and development.

According to him, one of the goals of this activity was to raise awareness among the public, including school students, to increase their fish consumption.

SDN Baru 03 Principal, Trisnaini Nur Fatonah explained the 600 students who participated in this activity were his students who were in grades one to six.
She admitted, in twice a week, he held a joint meal program with a balanced nutritional menu.
"We will increase the time and add to it by consuming fish or processed food products made from fish," she stated.
