Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat instructs his ranks to reorganize the management and orderly administration in order to improve the assessment results of Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) in future.

“BPK assessment is pretty good so far. Many parties are already assessing our performance. Indeed, it is still far in terms of management and orderly administration,” disclosed Djarot, Monday (7/6) night.

Such statement is as a response of the BPK's assessment results over city's 2014 financial report. In its assessment, the city administration received opinion results of reasonable with exceptions (WDP).

In the report results, there are some problems that should be resolved. Among them are exception, controlling and asset security, as well as partnerships with third parties amounting to Rp 3.58 trillion, is not adequate yet.

On the other side, Djarot acknowledged the budget absorption in most region is still low. Similar condition also happens in central government. No wonder, it causes economic condition continues to weaken.

“That’s why, you guys (Djarot's ranks) continue to boost the absorption of the budget,” he stressed.

He added, his part also has instructed related units which received BPK notes on the findings of the overpayment. “We are optimistic the deadline is within 60 days after receiving this result, and the budget surplus has been returned to regional treasury,” he uttered.
