North Jakarta Mayor Officially Inaugurates Raja Udang Park

North Jakarta Mayor, Hendra Hidayat, inaugurated Raja Udang Park on Jalan Syech Nawawi Albantani, RT 01/11, Semper Barat Urban Village, Cilincing Sub-district.

He expressed appreciation and gratitude to PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) Regional 2 Tanjung Priok for collaborating to build the King Shrimp Park on a 340-square-meter land with 18 types of ornamental plants.

"This is a form of concern from the company's colleagues through the CSR program to help beautify and green the North Jakarta area. Previously, this land was dark and disorganized, but now it is becoming more beautiful," he expressed, Tuesday (9/30).

He hoped that this park could serve as a model for other companies in creating a lush, beautiful, and comfortable environment. He also hoped, local administrators, urban village heads, sub-district heads, and locals would maintain and care for this park.

"Make sure no mischievous hands dirty this park. Hopefully, the collaboration can continue," he hoped.

PT Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok Executive General Manager, Yandri Tri Saputra, said this park was also built as part of the company's social and environmental responsibility (TSJL) program to support greening and urban planning in North Jakarta.

"This collaboration is not the first, but it is one of many. Hopefully, this park can make North Jakarta even better, beautiful, and tidy," he explained.

He wants this green space or park to become an area for community interaction, and it could even serve as a photo spot for visitors to the park.

"Insya Allah (God willing), the collaboration will continue to be sustainable; we have already built two parks. We'll also build others, and we are still in the survey stage together with the North Jakarta City administration," he added.

The park received appreciation from the local resident, Dini Amelia (32).

"Very nice, the park also has benches. Previously, the area was dirty and disorganized. Thank you for beautifying our neighborhood," she stated.
