Pramono Invites Residents to Utilize Park Facilities for Fitness

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung, inaugurated the 2,156-square-meter Bugar Park in Duri Kepa Urban Village, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta.

This inauguration is a good example of collaboration between the Jakarta Government and the Jakarta City Council.

"This is a form of good collaboration between council members and Jakarta Government, which has finally materialized, a park that we will soon inaugurate together," he expressed, Wednesday (10/1).

He hoped that residents could freely utilize the facilities at the location for fitness activities. The available facilities can be used free of charge.

This is the result of utilizing public facilities and social facilities (fasum-fasos) which is expected to serve as a prototype or example for other regions.

He also reminded the importance of maintaining the park and the facilities that have been built, thus they can be used to their fullest benefit by the residents.

"Hope this form of collaboration can serve as a prototype or example wherever it is implemented, thus the assets and facilities can be truly utilized optimally for the community," he explained.

Pramono added that the construction of this Bugar Park also considers environmental aspects, particularly flood control.

"This place also has rain drainage to accommodate heavy rainfall, so hopefully this park won't flood," he stated.
