Pramono: PPSU Work Contract must Be Completed Soon

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung, stated that the newly recruited PPSU personnel will sign employment contracts on October 10, 2025.

We will certainly resolve them promptly

He stated this statement to dispel the circulating issue regarding the moratorium on the recruitment of Individual Service Providers (PJLP) due to the reduction of Revenue Sharing Funds (DBH) from the central government.

"Certainly, our fiscal space will definitely decrease in the future. Currently, I am focusing and have decided that PPSU has already requested for October 10 to be signed," he expressed, Wednesday (10/9).

He explained, after signing the contract for PPSU, the Jakarta government will also continue a similar process for personnel from the Fire and Rescue Agency (Gulkarmat) and the White Troops.

"Therefore, regarding matters related to PJLP 2025 with the existing regional budget, we will certainly resolve them promptly," he explained.

Then, Pramono stated that the recruitment policy for PPSU for next year has not yet been decided, as the government is still awaiting fiscal space certainty after the adjustment of the Revenue Sharing Fund (DBH).

"What about next year? If there is no fiscal space, I'm sorry, we definitely won't be able to open for new PJLP. That's the situation we have to bear," he said.
