Green Corridor on Jalan Mayjen Sutoyo Arranged More Beautifully

Personnel from the East Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-agency are arranging the green corridor on Jalan Mayjen Sutoyo.

Look greener, tidier, and more beautiful

East Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-agency Head, Dwi Ponangsera said, the arrangement was made because many were damaged, plants were wilting, which reduced the city's aesthetics.

"This is focused on the Transjakarta Cawang Sentral Bus Stop up to the intersection or U-turn towards the entrance of Cililitan Terminal or PGC," he expressed, Monday (10/20).

Green Corridor and Cemetery Section Head, Made Widhi Adnyana Surya Pratita explained, the length of the arranged green corridor reaches 798 meters with 16 meters wide.

"This work involves 47 personnel. It has been ongoing since early October 2025 and is targeted to be finished by the end of the upcoming November 2025," he explained.

He added, there are also thousands of ornamental plant polybags planted along the area.

"This work progress has touched 80 percent," he added.

Then the ornamental plants planted include, among others, Kol Palm, Common Elephant Grass, Loropetalum Chinense, and Pretty Pink.

"This will make the Jalan Mayjen Sutoyo area look greener, tidier, and more beautiful," he stated.
