The event was supported by the presence of speakers including the Expert Staff to the Minister of Communican and Digital for Socio-Economic and Cultural Affairs, Wijaya Kusumawardhana; Jakarta Bappeda Deputy Head, Deftrianov; Georgetown SFS Asia Pacific Rector, Yuhki Tajima; and Strategic Partnership Manager Geo - Google, Galuh Rohmah. It was moderated by Jakarta Communication, Informatics, and Statistics Agency Head, Budi Awaluddin.

Wijaya Kusumawardhana explained, digiital transformation is the key to driving national development towards Indonesia Emas 2045. Beyond technology, this process also involves governance, the digital economy, and a empowered digital society.

Then, the development of a strong digital ecosystem must be supported by regulations, infrastructure, investment, and digital talent development so that all layers of society can feel the direct benefits of digitalized public services. And the acceleration of digitalization should be directed towards creating public services that are efficient, fast, and targeted.

"The community needs more responsive and easily accessible services rather than just administrative policies. Hence, collaboration between the government, academics, and industry players needs to be strengthened to build an inclusive, sustainable digital transformation with tangible impacts for residents," he furthered.

Jakarta Bappeda Head, Deftrianov mentioned, digitalization is the main driver and the 'ultimate cheat code' in accelerating public service innovation. Digital technology opens great opportunities to achieve breakthroughs in various fields, including transportation, urban planning, and data management.

"Through an information-based and analytical approach, various urban challenges can be resolved more quickly and accurately," he explained.

He cited how the utilization of big data and the Internet of Things (IoT) can be part of city solutions. Data from various sources such as social media, online transportation, and CCTV could be used for more effective analysis and decision-making.

"By so, besides accelerating innovation, digitalization also becomes part of the city solution that helps the government respond to community needs in real time," he continued.

Jakarta Communication, Informatics, and Statistics Agency Head, Budi Awaluddin concluded that digitalization is not just a supporting tool but a foundation in building fast, accurate, and transparent public services. The Jakarta government has utilized artificial intelligence (AI) to support data management, traffic management, and community needs analysis derived from various information sources.

"This step is part of Jakarta's commitment to developing a data-driven government system," he explained.

He added, digital transformation has become the main strategy to make Jakarta a competitive global city. Digital transformation aims to provide good, responsive, and fast public services to the community.

"With digitalization, we hope Indonesia can achieve the Indonesia Emas vision in 2045 and push Jakarta to enter the Top 50 global cities in 2029 and the Top 20 in 2045," he said.
