Channel on Jalan KRT Radjiman Widyodiningrat Being Dredged

As many as 11 personnel of blue taskforce of Cakung District's Water Resource Unit, East Jakarta are deployed to dredge the water channel on Jalan KRT Radjiman Widyodiningrat, RT 08/10 Jatinegara Urban Village.
The dredging is run along 150 meters

Head of Cakung District's Water Resource Unit, Dian Nur Cahyono, said the dredging has been running since October 22, 2025.
"The dredging is run along 150 meters. The sediment has reached 45 centimeters. In fact, the depth is only one meter with 80 cm of width," he said, Tuesday (11/4).
Dian added that 1,500 sacks of mud sediment have been cleaned from the channel.
"Now the progress reaches 45 percent with completion target next week," he added.
He hopes the dredging will make the channel flow the water smoothly to avoid inundation in surrounding area.
Meanwhile, Head of RW 10, Jatinegara Urban Village, Muhamad Idris, appreciated this work.
"Thanks for responding our request. Hopefully there will be no more inundation here," he hoped.
