Jakarta Fully Supports Urban Sneaker Society 2025 Event

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung officially opened the Urban Sneaker Society (USS) Jakarta 2025 at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Central Jakarta, on Friday (11/7).

"We want to show that local brands are on par with international brands,"

In his remarks, Pramono expressed Jakarta's full support for the event, which targeted the youth segment.

"The Jakarta Provincial Government fully supports events like this," he mentioned.

Jakarta Strengthens Creative Economy Through Coffee Industry

One form of support from the Jakarta Government is promotional assistance through the Jakarta Communication, Informatics, and Statistics Agency (Diskominfotik). Therefore, Pramono also hopes the event organizers can collaborate with the city government.

Urban Sneaker USS Jakarta 2025 exhibition runs from November 7 to 9. Governor belives the event which showcases creative products, will be popular among Jakarta's youth.

"I hope this year's event will attract more than 45,000 visitors," he said.

Meanwhile, CEO of USS Network, Sayed Muhammad, stated that this year's exhibition features around 320 tenants, with 80 percent representing local brands offering fashion, accessories, and more, while the remaining 20 percent consists of international brands.

"We want to show that local brands are on par with international brands. Even, many of them are collaborating together," he shared.

The crowd's enthusiasm for local brands was undeniable, as more than 500 people queued since the night before to secure the newest collections, with visitors coming from various regions and even overseas, including Singapore and Malaysia.

"Our target this year is around 45,000 to 50,000 visitors over three days. Hopefully everything runs smoothly, and everyone enjoys the event," he conveyed.
