Regional Budget 2026 Discussion Plenary Session to Be Held Wednesday

Chairman of Jakarta City Council, Khoirudin explained the schedule change was made because his side is still studying the final report on the results of discussions between the commissions and the Regional Work Units (SKPD).

This is to ensure there are no errors in calculating the total APBD value, including the transfer of spending budgets.

"A plenary session can be held after all account codes are completed, so that the process runs according to plan," he said, Monday (11/10).

He added that a plenary meeting to submit the final report on the results of the City Council Special Committee (Pansus) discussions would also be held on the same day.

"The special committee has finished its work, I hope everyone can report their results on time," he added.

In addition to discussing the regional budget, the Bamus also set several other important agenda items. One of these was the first recess of the first session of the 2025-2026 session year, which took place from November 3-7.

City Council members are then scheduled to visit electoral districts (dapil) on November 11, 17, and 18, 2025 to gather public aspirations.

The results of the recess activities will be submitted in the form of a written report on November 20–21, 2025, and presented at a plenary meeting on December 1, 2025.

The plenary session for the Jakarta Governor's speech is scheduled for November 12, 2025, followed by the general views of the factions and the Governor's response on November 19, 2025.

A public hearing with Commission A, academics, community organizations, and NGOs will be held on November 26, 2025. The following day, November 27, the Regional Regulation Formation Agency (Bapemperda) will discuss the articles of the Draft Regional Regulation.

The agenda will continue with a Joint Leadership Meeting (Rapimgab) on November 28, 2025, to discuss the report on the results of the discussions and facilitation with the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri).

The final stage is scheduled for December 19, 2025, with a plenary meeting to submit the report on the results of the Bapemperda and request approval from all members of the Jakarta City Council.
