11 Years Exist, Transjakarta Service Has Yet to Meet SPM

Transjakarta Bus Remains Operate on Ied-ul Fitr

Kosasih acknowledged that his side keeps trying to fulfill the SPM for the sake of Jakartans convenient when they ride the bus.

“There are still found burning bus cases, in which bus availability still inadequate, and traffic accident often occurs. These three things that have not been fulfilled right now," he expressed.

However, Kosasih is optimistic to achieve target service in accordance with SPM in the near future. “We gonna get 51 additional buses type Scania and 100 other buses,” he explained.

He continued the old buses would be grounded in line with the new bus fleet operational. “But If I do this right now, many passengers cannot be accommodated,” he uttered.

He added the number of Transjakarta passengers is currently 350 thousands per day. “Relaying on the data along January-February 2015, the number is lower than last November-December," he reported.
