Central Jakarta Mayor Arifin has urged his subordinates, including urban village heads, sub-district heads, and related regional apparatus organizations (OPDs), to strengthen their commitment and collaboration in preventing and reducing stunting prevalence by 2026.
"Preventing and reducing stunting is a cross-sectoral effort,"
"Cooperation, dynamics, and integration in implementing specific and sensitive interventions at every level are key to successfully achieving the target of reducing stunting prevalence in Central Jakarta by 2026,” Arifin said on Wednesday (11/19).

To support this, Arifin explained that the Central Jakarta government held a dissemination and publication event on stunting data to strengthen mutual understanding and ensure proper use of the data in program planning.
"We must utilize every piece of information to support stunting prevention and accelerate its reduction in Central Jakarta," he stated.
Moreover, the Central Jakarta Government will conduct a city-level development planning forum (musrenbang) focused specifically on stunting prevention and reduction as a priority in each OPD's work plan.
"Preventing and reducing stunting is a cross-sectoral effort, not solely the responsibility of the health sector," he asserted.
He added that today's signing of the joint commitment declaration reflects genuine dedication and responsibility to prevent and reduce stunting in Central Jakarta.
"With this commitment signing, we expect the planning of stunting prevention and reduction programs to be more focused, integrated, and sustainable in Central Jakarta," he concluded.
