Traffic Around Thamrin City Mall will Be Re-arranged

An entrance access to Thamrin City Mall is one of the causes of chaotic traffic congestion that happens along Jalan Mas Mansyur. To anticipate it, some traffic schemes on such location will be changed. 

The traffic congestion has been worst, if they are out from Jalan Kebon Kacang again, then other vehicles will be detained

Central Jakarta Vice Mayor, Arifin, when he held sudden inspection at the location, stated the vehicles which is out from the mall towards Jalan Kebon Kacang will be diverted to Jalan Teluk Betung 1 and towards Jalan Mas Mansyur.  

"The traffic congestion has been worst, if they are out from Jalan Kebon Kacang again, then other vehicles will be detained. That makes congestion until Cideng area," he expressed, Thursday (7/9).

According to him, this year, the dense of Thamrin City area is higher than last year. It also causes many illegal parking lots popping up around such shopping center. 

"Every day, Jalan Teluk Betung 1 is monopolized by many illegal parking lots, whereas there are still 6,000 parking slots on the building," he uttered. 

As a solution, the pedestrian lane will be constructed. These innovation conducted to minimize severe congestion at a later time.
