As many as 154 vehicles were netted in an illegal parking raid which held by Central Jakarta Transportation Department in Tanah Abang Market area, Tuesday (6/23). "Due to illegal parking around Tanah Abang Market, the place becomes chaotic and makes traffic congestion," told Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department Head, Henry Perez Sitorus.

Of the 154 vehicles, Sitorus expressed, 21 out of them immediately brought to be ticketed, while 131 other motorcycles' tire valves removed, 2 cabs and 2 private cars towed.
"The raid keeps being intensified because illegal parking is still rampant. The sanction is quite firm, starting from removing vehicle's tire valve until towing," told the former Head of Sawah Besar Sub-District.
