Green Garden Complex Park Beautified

West Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency run the Planting Friday activity by planting 10 pink tabebuia trees at Green Garden Housing Complex, RW 09, Kedoya Utara Urban Village, Kebon Jeruk District.

Head of West Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency, Dirja Kusuma said the activity was run on 600 square meter of land the complex.

Residents Appreciate Improved Aesthetics Under the Flyover

"The trees we planted are already about three meters high with an ideal planting distance of three meters as well," he said, Friday (11/28).

Dirja hopes that with good care, the planted trees will grow well and make the area more beautiful and shady.

Meanwhile, Kebon Jeruk District Head, Agus Mulyadi, appreciated the sub-agency's effort in beautifying the parks in West Jakarta.

"Previously, similar activity was held on Jalan Raya Panjang, RT 01/07, Kedoya Utara Urban Village," he admitted.

He added that this activity certainly benefits the environment. Besides planting the empty areas or land, these trees also enhance the aesthetics of the area.

"I urge the public to care for the environment. It can be run by helping preserve the earth by planting trees," he added.
