All relevant Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) have made various efforts, starting from activating pumps, building emergency embankments to anticipate seawater overflow and Weather Modification Operations.

"I continue to monitor the tidal flooding in Jakarta. It peaked at 9 AM and has now subsided," said Pramono, Friday (12/5).

Pramono explained that based on monitoring results, his side confirmed that sea levels had been decreasing since Thursday (12/4) evening, or around 10 PM. However, sea levels rose again this morning, peaking at around 9 AM.

"If rainfall is above 200 millimeters, I have ordered weather modification to be carried out," he explained.

Meanwhile, Corporate Communication PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol, Daniel Windriatmoko admitted the condition of the Ancol area in Pademangan District, North Jakarta is currently operating normally.

Previously on Thursday (12/4), a number of areas in Ancol were inundated by seawater overflow up to 20 centimeters high.

The floodwaters gradually subsided toward the afternoon and completely receded last night. However, Daniel admitted that the water level rose again around 8 AM this morning, affecting the area around Marina Pier.

"We've prepared sandbags so the impact will be minimal. Otherwise, conditions in Ancol are back to normal," he admitted.

Head Unit of Penjaringan District Water Resources, Pendi stated all areas affected by tidal flooding, such as Muara Angke and Muara Baru, have been handled.

"We have activated the water pumps and carried out emergency embankment maintenance with sandbags at a number of points," he stated.
