Jalan Cemara Area Rearranged for Mutual Comfort

The arrangement of the Fourth Quarter Area on Jalan Cemara, Gang 2, Block I, RT 04-05/RW 016, Lagoa Urban Village, Koja, North Jakarta, which has been underway since November, is targeted to be done by the end of December.

Previously, this area was poorly maintained

Thus far, the progress of the work has reached 75 percent.

Lagoa Urban Village Secretary, Leila Fatmasari said, this arrangement is part of the government's efforts to create a well-organized and competitive residential environment that is clean, orderly, and comfortable for residents.

Prime Area Arrangement on Jalan Poncol Reaches 70 Percent

"Previously, this area was poorly maintained, with the walls on the left and right sides of residents' houses being dirty and covered with vandalism. There was also little greenery, making it less visually appealing," he expressed, Tuesday (12/9).

He explained, the arrangement is made to make the area greener and more beautiful, including the provision of sorted trash bins, the crackdown on illegal parking, and street vendors (PKL).

"This work involves PPSU, SDA, and Environment, assisted by RT/RW administrators and locals," she explained.

Besides beautifying the environment, this also raises residents' awareness of the importance of maintaining cleanliness and beauty in the environment together.

"Hopefully, after completion, this area will be enjoyable for the entire community, especially those who frequently pass through this alley," he explained.

This work received appreciation from a local resident, Nuril Huda (31).

Hopefully, it could serve as an example of a disciplined, green, and comfortable environment in Lagoa Urban Village.

"Now the environment is cleaner, tidier, and more pleasing to look at. As residents, we definitely support this and hope it can be maintained in the future," he concluded.
