The supervision was conducted at Hero Gondangdia, Jalan RP Soeroso, Cikini Urban Village, Menteng District, Central Jakarta.

Head of Jakarta PPKUKM Agency, Elisabeth Rati Rante Allo, supervision is focused on product distribution permits, both domestically produced and imported food and beverages.

In addition, household industrial food, packaging conditions, expiration dates, and parcel products that are widely circulated ahead of the holidays are also being checked.

Regarding the monitoring results, Ratu revealed that several violations were still found. These included frozen meat products that did not display expiration dates, as well as peanuts and tea drinks with unclear expiration dates.

"We have immediately communicated with the store manager to withdraw products that do not include an expiration date or whose information is unclear," she said.

The agency also found products whose expiration date was almost over.

"We ask business actors to return the product to the supplier for goods that do not comply with the provision," she added.

According to her, this integrated supervision aims to ensure that products circulating in the community are safe, comply with regulations, and protect consumers ahead of increased demand during Christmas and New Year.

"Store managers need to be more observant of expiration dates and labeling. Earlier, we found dates that were spelled incorrectly. We will communicate with APRINDO and HIPPINDO to address this issue," she admitted.

Meanwhile, Head of Jakarta BBPOM, Sofiyani Chandrawati Anwar stated laboratory test results on food product samples did not find any hazardous substances.

"From the results of laboratory tests, all samples tested met food safety requirements," she stated.

However, her side found two products without distribution permits and two products without the pork-containing logo. These products have been removed from display and must be returned to the supplier.

"The Jakarta Provincial Government urges business actors to comply with all provisions regarding the circulation of goods, and invites the public to be more careful in choosing products, especially ahead of the Christmas and New Year celebrations," she appealed.
