Planetarium Jakarta Tickets Now Available Both Online and On-Site, Says Governor

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has responded to public complaints about the difficulty in obtaining tickets for shows at the recently reopened Jakarta Planetarium.

"...50 percent available on-site, and 50 percent online,"

Tickets sold online often sell out in under three minutes, highlighting strong public enthusiasm. Many visitors have traveled from outside Jakarta, including from Depok, Bekasi, and Tangerang, only to return home disappointed after missing out on tickets.

To address this, Pramono has decided that tickets will now be available both online and on-site.

"People requested that not all tickets be sold online. So I've decided to split it, 50 percent available on-site, and 50 percent online," he said in Karet Tengsin, Central Jakarta, on Monday (12/29).

He also shared that he had recently visited the Planetarium to observe the latest facilities and meet with the management. During his visit, he was informed that tickets were already sold out through December 31, 2025.

In response to public concerns about potential ticket scalping, Pramono emphasized the need for strict monitoring and said he had warned the management against such practices.

"I've made it clear that no scalpers allowed," he asserted.
