Corporate Secretary Division at PT LRT Jakarta, Sheila Indira Maharshi said the service adjustment aligns with the Jakarta government's efforts to ensure an orderly, safe, and comfortable New Year’s celebration through reliable public transit.

"Extending our operations until 2 AM is part of our commitment to supporting public mobility on New Year’s Eve, as we anticipate a surge in resident activity during the holiday,” she expressed, Tuesday (12/39).

During these additional hours, LRT Jakarta will ensure that all infrastructure, facilities, and personnel are fully prepared to maintain passenger safety and security.

To mark the year-end, the operator is also bringing back its "Ride & Riddle" program—a station-based stamp hunt and puzzle game. The program will run on December 31 from 4 PM to 2 AM and on January 1 from 1 PM to 5 PM.

“Through this program, passengers have the chance to win prizes while enjoying a fun and unique year-end travel experience,” Sheila explained.

LRT Jakarta reaffirmed its commitment to providing integrated and reliable transit, inviting all commuters to welcome the New Year with a renewed spirit toward a more connected and sustainable Jakarta.
