Ahok: PNS Must Obey Constitution

Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja 'Ahok' Purnama reminded all civil servants (PNS) to obey constitution. He threatened to fire all PNS who did collusion with Legislative Board (DPRD).

Ahok stated it related to the delivery of Examination Report (LHP) from Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) some time ago. In the past plenary meeting, Ahok was not given opportunity to submit a response. In fact, each regional head usually always deliver responses.

He suspected that there was collusion which performed by Legislative Board Secretary (Sekwan), Sotar Harahap because the agreement letter between BPK and DPRD are not reported to him. Moreover, Ahok believe that civil servants which are in DPRD should become moderator between the legislative and executive.

Ahok: BPK Should Conduct Substantial Audit

"I only asked to obey the constitution. If Mr. Sotar afraid to DPRD, I requested you to ask the signature from DPRD because I don't want give my signature," told Basuki in Jakarta City Hall, Monday (7/13).

Moreover, Ahok also asked Mr. Sotar to always report activity in DPRD. So, the Jakarta Provincial Government could take action as the response. “I suspect there are some civil servants who like to collude with DPRD," he added.

Ahok judge that there is a political element in the report distribution from BPK. He also said he would take stern action against wrongdoers. "Do not think I am afraid of DPRD. I am not afraid of anyone. I'm just afraid of God. If you want against me, I will fight back," he stated.
