West, South Jakarta Bracing for Potential Heavy Rain

The Meteorological, Climatological, and Geophysical Agency (BMKG) predicts a damp and overcast Tuesday for the capital, with conditions fluctuating between heavy clouds and moderate rainfall.

Today's temperature ranges from 22 to 28 degrees Celsius

"Cloudy and rain in the morning," stated BMKG's official site, Tuesday (1/13).

Conditions will vary by midday. While the Seribu Islands will enjoy a brief break with clear skies, light showers are expected to move through Central, North, and East Jakarta. Residents in West and South Jakarta should brace for steadier, moderate rain during the afternoon hours.

Weather Modification Deemed Successful in Anticipating End-of-Year Extreme Weather

By afternoon, Seribu Islands, West, and South Jakarta will settle into overcast conditions. Meanwhile, light rain will linger over Central, North, and East Jakarta.

Tonight, expect mostly cloudy skies citywide, though light showers may return to Seribu Islands.

Today's temperature ranges from 22 to 28 degrees Celsius, with air humidity between 74 and 95 percent.
