Jakarta Set for Persistent Rain Through Midday

Jakarta is in for a mixed bag of weather today, Thursday (1/15), as BMKG predicts a transition from moderate rain to overcast skies.

Today's temperature ranges from 23 to 28 degrees Celsius

"Rain in the morning," stated BMKG's official site, Thursday (1/15).

By midday, light rain will continue to soak Central, North, West, South, and East Jakarta, while Seribu Islands transitions to cloudy skies.

Weather Modification Deemed Successful in Anticipating End-of-Year Extreme Weather

The weather is expected to clear up slightly in the afternoon, with Seribu Islands seeing partly sunny conditions while the rest of the capital remains under a blanket of clouds.

As night falls, BMKG forecasts overcast conditions to prevail across all regions.

Today's temperature ranges from 23 to 28 degrees Celsius, with air humidity between 73 and 93 percent.
