Tax Realization Reached 11,19 Trilion in First Semester

The 13 local taxes realization in the end of first semester this year reached Rp 11.9 trillion. The number is lower compared to the target determined in city budget by Rp 36.07 trillion.

Up to June 30, the percentage is 31.02 percent

"Up to June 30, the percentage is 31.02 percent," said Agus Bambang Setiowidodo, Head of Jakarta Tax Service Department, Monday (7/13).

According to him, the amount in first semester last year was Rp 10.55 trillion or 32.48 percent.

“From number perspective, the realization number in 2015 is higher than 2014. But the percentage is lower,” he uttered.

Setiowidodo added that tax revenue in first semester this year cannot be made as prediction number or in other words about half of the target that must be achieved until the end of this year.

“As several local taxes revenue will increase significantly in the end of 2015,” he uttered.

Setiowidodo further said his side will do various attempts in order to realize tax revenue as city’s target in 2015.

“For instance, running a program which eliminate penalties for those who late pay the vehicle tax and vehicle-ownership transfer fees (BBNKB) and other ways to achieve target until the end of 2015,” he disclosed.
