D-2, Pulogadung Terminal Still Quiet

Entering D-2 of Eid ul-Fitr 1436 H, the condition in Pulogadung Terminal still quiet from passengers for homecoming. Consequently, many inter-city inter-province (AKAP) buses parked outside the terminal.

Relayed on beritajakarta.com observations, Wednesday (7/15), scores of buses are parked outside of terminal as the bus pool can only accommodate 80 fleets and cause traffic congestion along Jalan Raya Bekasi.

A Homecomer Reported an Autobus Company to Pulogadung Pospol

Head of Pulogadung Terminal, Simon Ginting conveyed the lack of the bus passengers has caused buses parked outside the terminal. As a matter of fact, his side has warned them, but it was still ignored.

“That’s why, we do monitoring inside the pool and outside the terminal. This is due to lack of passengers,” he explained.

Even, they often park in the intersection of terminal on Jalan Bekasi Raya, precisely in Warung Jengkol.

Such condition is very much different with previous years, where the number of passengers was high.

His side recorded on D-4, as many as 2,118 homecomers were departed through 144 buses. But its number increased on D-3 with the total number of 2,856 homecomers with 150 buses and 147 buses arrived with 1,278 passengers.
