The Istiqlal Mosque, Central Jakarta, is going to hold Idul Fitri prayer on Friday (7/17) tomorrow, although government has not yet announced the exact date of the Idul Fitri 1436 H.

But Mr. Jusuf Kalla and all ministers will pray here (Istiqlal Mosque)

Vice Head of Takmir Section for Jakarta Istiqlal Mosque, M Wahyono ensured Vice President Jusuf Kalla to conduct Eid prayer in Istiqlal Mosque.

“We still don't know where Mr. President and family to do Eid prayer. But as far as I heard, they will do it in Solo. But Mr. Jusuf Kalla and all ministers will pray here (Istiqlal Mosque) ,” he reported, Thursday (7/16).

He stated the Eid prayer in Istiqlal Mosque will be led by Imam (prayer reader) Drs. H Hasanuddin Sinaga at 7AM and Khatib by Prof. Dr Malik Madany MA with theme “Spirit of Ukhuwah Wathaniyah".

While for the security, is still the same with the previous years.

“The preparation is done. Then security will be supported by Presidential Security Detail (Paspampres) and police officers. And about people with social and welfare problem (PMKS), we have coordinated with Social Department as anticipation way,” he finished.
