Unlike the previous year, the management of sacrificial animals changes the Istiqlal Mosque meat sharing mechanism to mustahiq. The meat distribution is no longer using coupon, but it will be directly distributed to mustahiq.

Public Relation of Istiqlal Mosque, Abu Hurairah, admitted there is critic related to coupon mechanism. The line of mustahiq always ended chaotic, and some of them died.

" There will be no more queue system this year. Hopefully it runs properly and smoothly . This new mechanism could be applied for next year," he told beritajakarta.com, Thursday (10/2).

According to him, several places such as mosques and orphanages in Sawah Besar, Gambir, and Tanah Abang become the target of meat distribution.

So far, Hurairah added, his side had received a number of proposals following the mustahiq name from mosques around Istiqlal. Even though it reached 10 thousand people, but it must be adjusted based on the number of sacrificial animals at Istiqlal.

"The number of mustahiq is still growing. In fact, only 5,000-6,000 people could get the meat yearly," he added.

Currently, the number of sacrificial animals at Istiqlal has reached 25 cows and 5 goats. This number is temporary while waiting the animal from President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, Vice President Boediono, and other officials.

The animal will be slaughtered after Eid prayers on Sunday (10/5). "The process will run fast because we only slaughter, peel, and distribute to the target. They will divide into small pieces," Hurairah stated.
