On the first day of the Idul Fitri celebration, the opening hours of National Monument (Monas) is changed starting at 8 AM becomes 10 AM. Besides that, to anticipate the visitor surge, its number had to be limited to1,800 visitors. 

So on the first day, we just operate after Eid prayer, precisely at 10 AM-3 PM

Head of Monas Management Unit, Rini Haryani stated for the second day and so on, the monument will open normally from 8 AM-3 PM. 

"So on the first day, we just operate after Eid prayer, precisely at 10 AM-3 PM," she explained, Friday (7/17). 

Handayani admitted, on the first day, the visit to the top of monument is also limited to 1,800 people only. "So if the tickets are already sold out before 12 PM, then the tickets counters will be closed. As visitors number is certainly limited to 1,800 visitors only," she explained. 

She disclosed, during Idul Fitri holiday, the entrance ticket fares to monument and the top of monument keeps being applied as normal days. "Which is amounted to Rp 2,000 for kids, Rp 3,000 for students and Rp 5,000 for adults," he told.
