1,361 Police Officers Ready to Safeguard Takbiran & Eid ul-Fitr

As many as 1,361 police officers will be on standby at some points in Central Jakarta on malam takbiran (the eve of Idul Fitri) and Eid prayer. The guarding itself is focused on Presidential Palace and Monas areas.

According to Sr. Comr. Suyatno, Chief of Central Jakarta Metro Police Public Relation Sub-Division, those 1,361 police officers are consisting of 375 officers from Polda Metro Jaya, 248 officers from Central Jakarta Resort Police, and 151 other elements to guard ring 1 area during malam takbiran.
"The guarding will begin at 4.30 PM, we also send 95 officers equipped with roller skates," he expressed, Thursday (7/16).
