City to Conduct Binduk Operation on D+21

City administration predicted around 6,532,402 citizens are returning to their hometown. A number of newcomer is predicted bigger more than homecomers.

As an anticipation strategy, Vice Governor Jakarta, Djarot Saiful Hidayat acknowledged, Jakarta is a welcome city with a note, newcomers have to comply with the regulation applied.

“No ban applied, we welcome you to come over and get a life here,” he said to beritajakarta.com, Sunday (7/19).

Djarot urged the newcomers to get a place to live and also have a skill, thus we can get a job easily.

Meanwile, Head of Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Department, Edison Sianturi conveyed that his side will conduct Civil Yustisi Operation (OYK) on D+21 post ied-ul fitr.

The effort will involve related units such as Mayor, Sub-District and Urban Village Head, RT/RW, Satpol PP and Army/police.

“The effort aims to socialize bylaw related population coaching related civil registration and housing,” he explained.

He added, the operation will provide civil administration service for newcomer who have fulfilled the requirement.

However, the requirements must meet by newcomer are have a decent life, temporary place and job.

“So they cannot be displaced in capital. They must not enter restricted area such as, green space, riverbank. We’ll discipline them if they still ignorant,” he disclosed.
