Integrated security system is considered quite effective to prevent vacant house theft during Eid-ul Fitr. Evidently, since apparatus of North Jakarta Sector Police and Satpol PP applied the system on D-2 to D+4, no one reporting theft during the homecoming.

“ We conducted patrol together in residential area , that’s what we called as integrated security system,” said Iyan Sophian Hadi, Head of North Jakarta Satpol PP, Thursday (7/23).

According to him, as much as 500 Satpol PP officers were deployed for the sake of security during Eid-ul Fitr.

Chief Police of North Jakarta Sector Police, Chief Pol. Grand Comr. Susetio Cahyadi acknowledged since the beginning of Ramadhan, his side had carried approaching and recording data of homecomers. As a result, his side could focus on vacant house during Eid.

“We could record vacant house which abandoned by the owner to going home. Then residents also followed our appeal by installing CCTV in order to tighten the security,” he enlightened.
