Illegal Parking-Prone Areas Guarded by Dozens of Personnel

Jakarta Transportation Department will deploy dozens of personnel
that will be placed in a several prone-illegal parking areas. The effort is as
an anticipation way of congestion caused by the existence of illegal parking in
West Jakarta.
Our personnel will guard 12 illegal parking-prone areas in West Jakarta
“We will guard as much as 12 points of illegal parking in West
jakarta. Each points will be guarded by 4-5 personnel under Transportation
Sub-Department,” said Andri Yansah, Jakarta Transportation Department, Thursday
(7/28).
The locations are, Jalan Gajah Mada, Jalan Hayam Wuruk, Asemka,
and Jalan Latumetten.
However, City Transportation Department received at least 10 complaints
in a day with the help of resident’s complaint and personel monitoring. After receiving
the complaint, it immediately sends to related units (SKPD) in each areas.
“Around 5-6 complaints received in areas and will be adressed
directly by our rapid response team in each areas,” he disclosed.
