Low-Cost Rental Flat (Rusunawa) will be built integrated with terminal and market. By integrating it, citizens settlement could be more easy to be reached by transportation and near by economy center.

As planned, the City Administration will build 4 blocks of flat as high as 16 floors in Muara Angke Terminal, North Jakarta, and 2 blocks on the land of Tanah Merdeka Terminal.

"We always try to fulfill  high needs of flat for Jakartans," said Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat at City Hall, Wednesday (7/29).

The former Mayor of Blitar explained, a number of priority locations that will be built are Pasar Rumput and Pasar Minggu which are located in South Jakarta.

"There are still no flats yet in South Jakarta, there are only low-cost subsidized apartment (Rusunami) or apartment. The point is how do we synergize, combine economic activity with residential. By doing so we solve 2 matters at once, residential and economy comunity matters," he explained.
