Ahok Denies New KJP's System is Lack of Socialization

Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T. Purnama denies that Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) is lacking of socialization. This is associated with a moment when citizen lined up for disbursing KJP in some areas. Some residents also complained can not withdraw the funds in cash fully.

Ahok considered, residents have yet adapt with new system applied. Start from this year, KJP fund can not be disbursed fully.

The transaction has reached Rp 8 billion. It means, half of residents understood with the new system applied this year.
Ahok has instructed Bank DKI to fulfil Electronic Data capture (EDC) machine in several shops in Asemka and Tanah Abang Market. It aims to simplify KJP’s holder shopping school equipment.
As known, starting this year, Jakarta Smart Card fund cannot be withdrawn in cash fully. For Elementary School (SD) students, they can withdraw Rp 50 thousand every two weeks. Then for Junior High School (SMP) students , Senior High School (SMA) and Vocational School (SMK) cash withdrawal can be done every week amounted to Rp 50 thousand.
