Satpol PP officers demolished 30 street vendor's kiosks that stood atop the drain of Jalan Sakti IV, RT 08/09, Kemanggisan Urban Village, Palmerah, West Jakarta, Monday (8/3).
The demolition is in accordance with the applicable procedures by notifying vendors through socialization
Palmerah Sub-District Head, Zery Ronazy said scores of street vendors’ kiosks have violated the Bylaw No. 8/2007 on Public Order. In future, the Water Management Sub-Department will be involved to clean up drains, as well as Parks and Cemetery Sub-Department to conduct tree pruning.
