Ahok: Dismissal Against SMAN 3 Principal Was Approrpriate

Surely, there are no errors in the procedure

Jakarta Governor Basuki “Ahok” T Purnama (Ahok) assessed that the dismissal procedures over Principal of SMAN 3 Jakarta, Retno Listyarti by Jakarta Education Department, Arie Budiman, was appropriate with the procedure.

Former Regent of East Belitung also casually responded the lawsuit from Retno Listyarti against Arie Budiman.

He mentioned, the procedure was not flawed, but based on the applicable procedures. "Surely, there are no errors in the procedure," he stressed.

As known, Retno sued Head of Jakarta Education Department to the Jakarta State Administrative Court (PTUN) regarding Department Head Decree No. 355/2015 on her dismissal as principal.

She registered her lawsuit accompanied by legal counsel from Jakarta Legal Aid Institute (LBH) on Tuesday. It was registered with No. 165/G/2015/PTUN JKT.

She furthered that the effort is the way to obtain justice. She was reportedly dismissed from her position due to negligent and wander during the implementation of the national exam (UN). Instead of supervising exams, she preferred to serve a direct interview with private television station.
