Volleyball team of SMA 3 Bekasi dominated indoor Volleyball Championship inter-high school of Jabodetabek which was held by Faculty of Sport Science of Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) in GOR Velodrome, Rawamangun, East Jakarta, Friday(5/22) until last Sunday(5/24). SMA 3 Bekasi men's and women's volleyball team won as the first place of the championship which was held for the second time. As the achievement, SMA 3 Bekasi volleyball team earned coaching money as the prize amounted to Rp 1,5 million.

While the 2nd place was achieved by team of SMKN 1 Cikarang Barat, 3rd place by SMK Binakarya Mandiri Bekasi, and SMAN 51 Jakarta won as consolation prize winner. For women's team, 2nd place was achieved by team of SMA PGRI 109 Tangerang and 3rd place by SMAN 3 Cibinong. And SMAN 89 Jakarta achieved consolation prize winner. The 2nd winner earned a prize amounted to Rp 750,000 and Rp 500,000 for the 3rd place.
Persija Targeted to Win ISL 2014-2015Head of Provincial Caretakers for Jakarta Board of Trustees Student Sports All Indonesia (BAPOPSI, Firmansyah Wahid stated, this second championship was participated by 200 students divided into 7 women's teams and 8 men's teams. Those team are from SMAN 51 Jakarta, SMAN 63 Jakarta, SMAN 8 Bekasi, SMK Bina Karya Mandiri, SMA PGRI 109, SMA Al-Nur. SMAN 1 Ciawi, SMAN 3 Cibinong, SMAN 2 Bogor, SMKN 1 Cikarang Barat, and SMAN 4 Bogor.
"This championship is a part of coaching for youth achievers generation, also finding superior seeds in volleyball," expressed Firmansyah, Monday (5/25).
This championship was supported by Provincial Caretakers for BAPOPSI and Jakarta Disorda. Achiever team is given a chance to continue to high education in UNJ easily, especially for those who want to apply in Faculty of Sport Science.
Vice Dean IV of UNJ's Sport Science Faculty, Mustara Musa added, for achiever volley athletes certainly will be simplified to study in UNJ. It is a form of consideration and encouragement from UNJ for achiever students in sport field.
"At least when they participate in college entrance test, we will pay more attention to them. Sure it is a stimulus for other students to be more achieve in the sport field,' he uttered.
