Ahok Prioritaskan Pembelian Lahan

City Budget will Be Prioritized for Land Purchase

Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) not questioned the low absorption of City Budget in this second semester because he claimed that the absorption will be maximized in City Budget Changes (APBD-P). Moreover, he predicted that Jakarta Provincial Government will be short of money when the end of the year.

We will prioritize the budget for land purchase and buy vehicle for cleanliness

Ahok admitted to intentionally freeze some activities because he still found any markups on the unit price.

"It's okay if the absorption is low because we were cut it deliberately. But, it won't happen again in APBD-P, we may even short of money later," told Basuki in City Hall, Thursday (8/6).

I Believe APBD-P Absorption will Be Maximal, Ahok Says

According to him, there are some priorities in APBD-P such as for land purchase either for park or road, and heavy equipment purchase for cleanliness.

"We will prioritize the budget for land purchase and buy vehicle for cleanliness," told Ahok.

As known, entering the second half of 2015 fiscal year, the city absorption is still below 20 percent. Until July 29, only Rp 12.22 trillion of Rp 63.65 trillion expenditure budget were absorbed.

Total of Jakarta City Budget is Rp 69.28 trillion which divided into local expenditure of Rp 63.65 trillion and Government Investment Participation (PMP) of Rp 5.63 trillion.
