Djarot: APBD Absorption This Year will Be Better

We're optimistic because there are e-budgeting, e-catalog and auction through the ULP. So it can be controlled and more transparent

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidajat is optimistic the absorption of 2015 City Budget (APBD) will be better compared to last year. Moreover, it already ratified earlier, thus the regional working unit (SKPD) hoped able to absorb budget optimally.

"I am optimistic that this year's budget absorption is better than 2014. We will work hard to increase its absorption up to 90 percent of the total budget," said Djarot at City Hall, Wednesday (1/28).

He was more optimistic if it could be better than the previous year due to various online system took effect. They are like e-budgeting, e-catalog and auction through goods and services procurement (ULP) and services that are no longer centralized.

"We're optimistic because there are e-budgeting, e-catalog and auction through the ULP. So it can be controlled and more transparent," said former Mayor of Blitar.

He also asked SKPD can use budget optimally and not only clever plotting program.

"If there are activities that have not been accommodated, just include in APBD amendment," he stated.
