East Jakarta Sub-dept. of Industry and Energy to instal 56 saving energy-street lights in 7 spots. Each light has 8 branches with height about 14 meters. The effort is aimed to prevent crime.

Head of East Jakarta Industry and Energy Sub-Department, Tuti Kurnia acknowledged the 7 spots of street light installation are T-junction of Jl Slamet Riyadi-Jl Matraman Raya, Jl Pemuda intersection, Jl Pintu 1 TMII, Jl Pemuda, Jl Raya Bekasi, Jl Sultan Hamengkubuwono XI and Kampung Melayu Terminal.
“It is hoped the light installation will suppress the crime as much as possible,” Tuti said Friday (8/7).
Efficiency, Street Lights must Have Electricity MeterAccording to Tuti, the bulb is a 1,000 watts High Pressure Sodium (HPS) type. The bulb will be installed by Dept. of Industry and Energy. Tuti's side only provides the location of installation which is based on resident's aspiration via Qlue.
Tuti promised to add the installation location and invite the residents to share the aspiration related to street light installation via Qlue application.
