Around 850 participants flocked Tidung Beach Bike in Tidung Island, Seribu Island, Sunday (8/9). Civil servants (PNS) and local people enlivened this event.

Various activities were also carried out such as 7.2 kilometers cycling, planting 10,000 mangrove trees, Cinta Bridge cleaning, inauguration of bicycle community and ornamental bike race.

“ Those activities are routinely carried out twice a year. While for Tidung Fest is held every year ,” said Bandok Eko Priambodo, Head of Seribu Island Regency Communication, Informatics and Public Relations Sub- Department, Monday (8/10).

According to him, this event could boost up visitor. Though the tourism supporting facility in this island is still lacking.

“Our concerned is the lack number of home stay. Thus it cannot able to hold tourist to stay any longer here,” he disclosed.
