About 75 percent out of 7,000 school cooperatives that spread in Jakarta are recorded non-active. This can be seen from the number of cooperation that rarely holds the Annual Members Meeting (RAT).
Through RAT, the non-active school cooperative can be known. The most active is SMA
"There are still many school cooperatives rarely hold the RAT. And they are categorized as non-active school," told Head of Jakarta Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperatives (KUMKMP) Department, Irwandi, Wednesday (8/12).

Relaying on the data, told Irwandi, those non-active schools are Elementary School (SD) and Junior High School (SMP). Meanwhile at Senior High School (SMA) level, the school is still actively holding the RAT and carrying out cooperation activities such as savings, loans, etc.
"Through RAT, the non-active school cooperative can be known. The most active is SMA," he uttered.
His side will re-activate the non-active schools by providing guidance to the caretaker and its member. The guidance is including financial management until the Human Resources (SDM).
